Could someone please explain the use of this word. The literal translation came up as farmer! It is often on things I. Supermarkets and I'm wondering if it is something like a home brand?

Mainly used to signify products made for a retail store Mercadona for instance

Besides being a brand name "hacendado" means the owner of a large country property or plantation called "hacienda". Much more prestigious and wealthier than a farmer.
