Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott caused alarm late on Monday by innocently wandering into the gents in the Commons. After a man standing at the urinals pointed out her mistake, she said ‘Sorry’ – before calmly heading to one of the cubicals and closing the door.

:D :D :D

Not the first time she has lost her way

She went into the Lavvy to count the money raised from " Jezfest" - after a few seconds of using her abacus she decided that the numbers attending were the same as the numbers of CSPO's that were in her radio interview
Abbott then wanted a stiff one but Jeremy was not up to it, so she decided to seek out a Grenfell" survivor" who was asleep in Oxford Street when the fire was raging.

Definately Kev Tyler, he hates sport of all types.

With relation to the thread do you think Diane has been helping Theresa with her sums, this non existent “ Brexit divvy dend “ is just laughable.
Hi Jonesy--if Mrs May has got her sums wrong--can you explain this headline from todays newspapers:wink:

Labour scramble to match Tory NHS funding pledge: Ashworth says they WILL meet May's £20BN cash offer just an hour after Thornberry was left tongue-tied over her party's strategy

Absolutely crazy, the tories can’t say where the money will come from yet labour pledge to best the offer.

Stupid.
The Tories have identified where the money will come from--Brexit windfall ( not paying into EU coffers) and from raising taxes--

Labour know that the Tories always keep their promises are are petrified that voters will back this --so they match it but stupid (yes you are right) because Labour have not costed it :D

That, if you don't mind, is a ridiculous response; of course they have costed it - it's going to cost £20 billion a year at some time in the future.

What neither party have done is worked out how the money is going to be found. The Conservatives have said some or all will come from a Brexit bonus, plus an specified increase in taxation to bridge any gap. However, as Brexit has yet to be agreed, and, more importantly, the annual cost to the UK in reaching that agreement is yet to be decided, the Tories don't have a clue where the money will come from.

Meanwhile, across the aisle on the other benches, Labour likewise haven't a clue how they will raise the necessary funds, either.

Smells like early electioneering to me.

The Tories have identified how the cost will be met --they will need to be more specific whether this will be a future manifesto promise with more detail on exactly how the split between Brexit bonus and tax hikes will play out------whereas Labour do not have a clue and are electioneering no doubt
