Looks like it is over for JC---according to Kev

jc ding a ling.jpg

All together now

Lyrics
My ding-a-ling-a-ling

When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling

My ding-a-ling my ding-a-ling won't you play with my ding-a-ling
My ding-a-ling my ding-a-ling won't you play with my ding-a-ling

When I was little boy in grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But every time the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling

Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to my ding-a-ling

Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
With both hands holding my ding-a-ling

Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
Must be playing with your on ding-a-ling

Shame on you traitors.

Well Corbyn quite rightly said he did not want less immigration.
He said there might be less immigration because Labour would ensure that employers paid foreign labour the same money as they do to British workers. That would provide less incentives for unscrupulous employers from exploiting foreign workers.
He also quite rightly said that post Brexit we still want access to the single EU market. Something the unelected Mrs Maybe is still arguing about with the right wing in her own party.

Hi Les

It's hard to see where this Brexit fiasco is leading, the industries that support the tories rely on low taxation and low paid workers to make their millions, if Theresa May cuts off the supply of slaves and stifles trade with Europe, in favour of more expensive deals elsewhere, and loses the security currently received to workers through eu membership etc, you have to wonder will the Brit kids want to pick up the slack and work for buttons ? Also the nhs is in bits and relies heavily on foreign workers, you have to wonder does this woman really have a clue, it's quite obvious we need immigrants to support the nhs and also pay in to the pot that is so under pressure from a needy aging population. I hope she does better as leader than she did in her last post.

Some of the arguments and attacks on the Conservatives defy logic.

You will find that the industry/ies that provide most of the financial backing for the Tories are those that contribute enormously to the UK's GDP, and employ some of the highest paid employees in the country, many of them earning 7 figure amounts.

They do not, usually, receive donations/support from those that pay their employees minimum wages, like farmers, restaurateurs, hoteliers or companies that supply cleaners.

Kev coud well be upset that his idol has been flip flopping all over the show-----Nobody knows what Labour's policies are on anything anymore----everyone must now accept that Maggie May has a clear run to deliver Brexit imminently

Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership relaunch descended into a “day of chaos” when he was forced into embarrassing climbdowns on both immigration and high pay.

The Labour leader left some of his MPs in despair when an apparent pledge to accept the end of free movement of all EU citizens after Brexit was dumped within hours.

His ‘relaunch’ speech – stating he is “not wedded to freedom of movement” – was altered, confusingly, by adding: “But I don’t want that to be misinterpreted, nor do we rule it out.”

Corbyn muddies water over Labour immigration policy
On high pay, Mr Corbyn sparked even greater confusion, when he suddenly floated – then quickly dropped – an ill-thought out proposal to impose a legal maximum salary.

It was replaced by a plan for maximum pay ratios, but only at companies taking Government contracts.

Any salary above £150,000 at those firms would also have to be signed off by the Cabinet Office, as those of high-earners in the public sector currently are.

However, even those tough proposals could not disguise the U-turn.
